SPILT MILK ENTERTAINMENT, along with TEN WEST FILMS, is producing the short film project entitled Poker Donkey.
Short films have quickly become the most popular category at film festivals across the world. They even compete for the coveted Oscar at the Academy Awards. It’s our belief that Poker Donkey will be such a contender. This path will allow us to eventually make Poker Donkey into a full-length feature film.
Production on the film is set to begin on November 13, 2012 and continue through December 8. Writers Roger and Laura Ranney will serve as producers along with producer Britt George. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles and put us on target for the 2013 film festival season, the optimal venues to generate critical attention for new independent films.

Curtis Armstrong is an American actor best known for his portrayal as “Booger” in the Revenge of the Nerds movies, as Herbert Viola on Moonlighting, and as famed record producer Ahmet Ertegün in the film Ray.

You’re officially part of HOLLYWOOD! (We will do our VERY best to keep this scene in the film but we can’t guarantee what will happen when we edit. If for any reason the scene has to be cut, your scene is GUARANTEED to appear in deleted scenes on the DVD release, and we’ll send you your scene on DVD in advance of this.) Funds raised for the production of the film “Poker Donkey” will be put into a separate escrow account until the entire production budget is raised. The anticipated date for completion of financing is December 31, 2012.
